Holy crap it’s almost May!!
Happy Friday, Friday Links fans…
» The Top 15 Unintentionally Funny Comic Book Panels
“Robin– What have I done to you?” Classic!
» Handheld Games Museum
And you thought *I* was nerdy. 🙂 Some of these made some companies literally billions of dollars. Now some of them can be bought as keychains, notably this one. And yes: this guy owns pretty much everything you see here. Yikes.
» ThinkGeek Annoy-A-Tron!
Worth a read. A sick part of me wants several of these. 🙂
» Panda Bounce
Instructions are all in Japanese but essentially: Click on the panda to start it bouncing, then move the two guys on the bottom (with your mouse) to keep bouncing him off the targets above. It gets tricky because (of course) there are ninjas. Addictive and hilarious.
Have a great weekend, and enjoy the last of April.
Here you go…
» Iggy Pop’s Concert Rider
Some insane little commentaries all the way through. p.6: Stage Plan indicates that “No substances related to the manufacture of creosote” are allowed, among many, many others. Insane.
» Lost: Easter Eggs
Yes, all the OTHER little details you (and I) are probably missing from this addictive TV show. Needless to say: spoiler alert. Sent in by Ash.
» Asteroids Revenge
Instead of being the little ship that blows up asteroids, you are the asteroid. Oddly entertaining!
» Give Me Back My Google
“Google results without the annoying affiliate links.” It’s kind of like removing all the billboards from your drive home.
Hope your weekend is spectacular! Happy Friday
Friday! [tense pause] THE 13TH!!!! [orchestra!!]
» Good Vs. Evil Foosball Table
Self explanatory. And “?!?!!?!”
Sent in by Ashleigh T.
» The Human Eye: Technical Specifications
In which an author compares several photographic specs to the image specs of the average human eye. A bit nerdy but pretty interesting.
Turn pieces on the screen to form loops, which disappear. Do so before the screen fills up. Challenging and addictive.
Weird Google-maps-style hack of somebody’s massive desktop full of rare books. Odd. But interesting.
Have a fabulous weekend, Friday folks!
Your Friday Links for a loooong weekend (for most people anyway.)
Here we go!
» Miwa Koizumio: PET Project
Sent in by Courteney B. (Hi Courteney!)
This artist takes plastic water bottles and creates sculptures of underwater creatures. They’re quite beautiful.
» The Criterion Contraption
A blog which started in 1994 in which the author is reviewing every single release from the Criterion Collection. This is a pretty daunting task for any normal person. He’s “only” reviewed 67 of them so far.
Look up pertinent quotes for any topic or holiday. Pretty good resource if you have to give a speech of any sort.
» Eggs! Of! Destruction!!
An easter-themed version of Battlefield or Worms World Party. “Fire” your chicken’s egg at your opponent, using careful angle and velocity settings. Funny! (And addictive.)
Happy Easter / Passover / chocolate egg season everyone. Have a great weekend.
