A good mid-August-Friday to you.

Here we go.

» Walk Score

“Walk Score calculates the walkability of an address by locating nearby stores, restaurants, schools, parks, etc. Walk Score measures how easy it is to live a car-lite lifestyle—not how pretty the area is for walking.”
Fantastic idea. My own neighborhood scores a respectable 73 out of 100. (It actually should score higher, they’re missing a bunch of items.) Try yours!

» Origami Joel: Masks

Fantastic. Origami artist Joel Cooper has several pieces for sale (or sold out) and many pieces in public installations.
His flickr site also features lots of other amazing work.

» Tampon Crafts

Insane. 🙂

» Curveball

An endlessly re-playable 3d-ish version of pong. It’s more fun than it sounds.

» Bubble Calendar

“a poster-sized calendar with a bubble to pop every day”
Indeed!

Have a great weekend.

Happy Friday everyone.
