Happy Friday everybody!
One more week to Hallowe’en! ooOOOOOoooo…
And now: some links.
“It started as a small project, just to try a set up in After Effects.
“But it grew and probably outgrown out of my best expectations.”
These are wonderful.
You draw things, and this interface identifies and renders it into an image.
It also does letters.
“Myself hanging out with myself, c. 1997-2005.”
Conor Nickerson photoshops his adult self into snapshots of himself as a child, sometimes wearing similar clothes.
This is really well done, and making the rounds.
A weird adaptation of Pac Man. Everything moves only when you move, and it moves a lot faster than the original. A little challenging to get good at, but definitely addictive.
A wall map which is covered by scratchable gold foil, so you can scratch off the countries you’ve visited.
An ingenious, if messy, idea.
An extra thing I wanted to include was this episode of the “Hurry Slowly” podcast on RadioPublic.com. It’s an interview with Jason Fried, the founder and CEO of Basecamp, and the discussion covers a lot of extremely important points related to how we work, how much we work, and how to balance our work with a health, content life. It’s one of the most interesting conversations I’ve heard on the subject. People who know me know I work a lot, and usually for very long hours. This is the kind of discussion that could save your life. I found it really insightful.
And there we go! All Friday Linked Up!
Have a great Friday, a great weekend, and see you in seven days.
