Mr. Leeson’s nature photography is gorgeous.

He plays with light via dew that’s condensed on the plants he photographs. Really interesting effect.

Sleep Science: In the Era of Screens, Rest is Crucial

Sleep Science: In the Era of Screens, Rest is Crucial

This is an incredible read which I thought was worth sharing.

The CIA’s Simple Sabotage Field Manual

The CIA's Simple Sabotage Field Manual

From 1948. Declassified some time in the 1980s.

These guys were assholes. ๐Ÿ™‚ Lots of sneaky, frustrating ways to cause strategic damage to your opponents’ plans.

Full text is available at Project Gutenberg. It’s an interesting read.

“An online multiplayer orbiting simulation.”

This is a very challenging game. The goal is to launch from the earth into a stable orbit for as long as possible. That is not easy at all. I keep running out of fuel. You only have a small number of controls and there’s a lot to crash into.

Still: fun!

They Fight Crime!

“He’s a suave pirate boxer living undercover at Ringling Bros. Circus. She’s a plucky hip-hop Valkyrie from Mars. They fight crime!”

An odd little single-use website.
