Happy Friday!

And welcome to today’s Friday Links, which is mostly fine-art-related.

Han Hsu-Tung: Wood Works

Han Hsu-Tung: Wood Works

This artist creates breathtaking sculptures that look like they are dissolving into pixels / bricks.

It’s a very striking effect. Beautiful.

Simon Schubert: Licht (Light)

Simon Schubert: Licht (Light)

Artworks made completely of very precise creasing of a piece of paper.

The effect is quite stunning.

Schubert is based out of Cologne, Germany.

Hero Forge Custom Miniatures

You design the character – right in your web browser – and this company 3D prints your creation as a tabletop model and ships it to you.

It’s focused on Dungeons and Dragons / fantasy table-top game fans, but you can make them just to make them. I love this idea.

Pixel Plucking

Pixel Plucking

A frantic little game.

In a limited time you have to move the big pixel to roll over smaller ones. Each time you do, more appear. Higher score = good.

I felt a little panicked as it went on but it’s definitely addictive.

And that is that. Finished. Kaput. Over.

Thanks for playing along at home, Friday Links-ers!

See you in a week.
