Well Happy Friday there folks!

Here we are! We made it. Friday!

And it’s link time. Here we go…

How to make pizza like a Neapolitan master

How to make pizza like a Neapolitan master

Since everybody’s sheltering in place at home and working on their sourdough, I thought this was definitely worth sharing. It’s been sent to me a few times in the past few days and I find it to be a thoughtful, fun description of every step of making any pizza, not just this particular kind.

Adorable. Sad.

He’s wearing a mask though!

Seinfeld Adventure

Seinfeld Adventure

“The ‘90s were ripe for video game cash-ins on popular franchises. In this game we imagine, ‘What if there was an official Seinfeld point-and-click adventure game that was never released?'”

This is merely the pitch for the game. I don’t know that I would actually ever play this game should it ever come to be, but it’s a funny idea.

A basic arcade platformer. You are a candle. When you move, your flame decreases. Shoot at nearby flames to refresh.

I am absolutely terrible at this game but it’s still super entertaining.

See you next Friday.

Well hello Friday people.

We made it. For me that was a “short” week but it was still packed. Hopefully your week was good.

And now! It’s link time…

Bimble Space: Spirograph

I really like this particular version. You can set a bunch of values and just watch it, or you can race through and see an artform come together.

Everywhere School

For those of you home-schooling / temp teaching your kids at home, this website offers daily live streams about a variety of topics.

Super, super informative. I don’t go to school and I find a lot of these to be interesting, enlightening and fun.

Highly recommended.

Move. Cover objects to consume them. Your little character grows.

Grow to the very specific shape of the exit to continue.

More challenging than it looks. Even early on. Not straightforward. But in a good way!

And that’s that! Friday Links! DONE!

Please stay safe. See that was one more week done! We can do it.

See you hopefully next Friday.

Well hello Friday folks!!

We made it! Again! Whuhoo!

I know that could get repetitive, but for as long as we do keep making it back to Friday, I will remain excited about it.

And where I live, it’s a long weekend. (whatever the heck that means anymore.)

Okay let’s begin!

These are great!

My score: Lawful good, ingredient purist, structure purist. (Lasagna?! Do people think lasagne is a sandwich?!)

McSweeney's: White House Coronavirus Task Force Briefing

By McSweeney’s founder Dave Eggers.

This is a reductive view of the press conferences we’ve seen in the past few days.

It’s not scant on the details that were provided in those press conferences.

Aim and sneeze with the goal of “infecting” as many people as possible.

I found this super challenging. Your mileage may vary.

And these have been your Friday Links!

Happy Friday!

Happy Easter!

Happy Passover!

Happy getting-through-this!

See you all in seven days.

April 3rd, 2020

Well happy Friday everybody.

We made it to April!

I mean I’ve been saying that “we made it to Friday” for many years now, but especially now… that’s definitely a plus. Hopefully you’re all hanging in there.

Going day by day right now. Week by week. It’s working! Hopefully for you as well.

Links time!

A.I. Gahaku

“The AI artist named ‘AI Gahaku’ generates canvas renaissance painting from your photos.”

The Rembrandt-y choice gave me a half-mustache and a decidedly disinterested expression.

Really interesting choices here.

Creative Dad Elegantly Plates and Serves His Son’s Lunch as a Waiter in a High-End Restaurant

Creative Dad Elegantly Plates and Serves His Son’s Lunch as a Waiter in a High-End Restaurant

“After a couple of weeks in quarantine, sommelier and stay-at-home dad Jason Booth found that he missed being in a restaurant, so he began plating a series of meals for his toddler son Jonah‘s lunch in a quite elegant fashion…”

The kid seems to enjoy it also.

I’m loving the ways people are passing the time during this crazy period in the world.

“The lost 2020 season – Simulating the lost games as hyper-realistic audio broadcasts”

I for one really miss basketball. And baseball.

Click on the hands that are trying to touch the face.

I can attest: nearly impossible with a trackpad.

Tussen Kunst & Quarantaine

Dutch for “Between Art & Quarantine”.

“If you work from home and the walls come at you. Here is some homemade art.
“1. Choose your artwork
“2. Use 3 attributes
“3. Share @ intermediate arts quarantine”

A group of artists from across Holland recreate famour artworks using whatever they have at hand during quarantine.

Some of these are just amazing.

And that’s that! Your Friday: alllll linked up.

Have a good, safe, healthy weekend everybody.

Hopefully see you all in a week.
