20 Prefab Tiny Houses You Can Buy Right Now

20 Prefab Tiny Houses You Can Buy Right Now

Note: primarily in the US only.

I am fascinated by some of these designs. I doubt I could live in one of them but they look amazing.

GeoQuest

GeoQuest

It gives you a country, you click on its location on a map.

It’s hard! But also it cleverly guides you to discovering where the country is, if you don’t know. Nicely done.

Using JavaScript!

This is actually amazing. You can’t physically download or export any files you create on this system, but it does work.

Burrito Bison Revenge

Burrito Bison Revenge

Launch yourself (with maximum power) and attempt to hit as many obstacles (and tiny pigs) as possihle.

Challenging and quite addictive.

Well there we have it! Your Friday has now been linked!

I hope your Friday is fantastic, and your weekend is wonderful.

Stay Safe! Happy Friday!

Happy Friday at last!

I’m running late and so I only have three, unfortunately.

But yay for Friday!

Let’s go…

Kind of Bloop: An 8-Bit Tribute to Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue

Kind of Bloop: An 8-Bit Tribute to Miles Davis' Kind of Blue

“Kind of Bloop is a chiptune tribute to Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue, a track-by-track 8-bit reinterpretation of the bestselling jazz album of all time.”

I was prepared to very much not like this, but the effort that went into this is actually quite impressive. It still swings like the original, and it still sounds like it’s being performed “in the moment” the way the original was.

Colour me surprised. Well done.

Found Films

Found Films

“The pages below show prints I made from processing film I found in old cameras. You are seeing them for the first time as they were lost by the photographers that took these images.”

It is amazing the resilience of old mylar film.

No they’re not the most immaculate photographs but what a series of interesting finds.

You Don’t Know Africa: Impossible Edition

You Don't Know Africa: Impossible Edition

Type as many African countries as you can. I got 22 our of 54. Not great.

Good for practice, though!

And that’s all I could get this week (busy work week.)

Thanks for following along with me everybody. I hope you’re all doing as well as you can.

See you next Friday!

These are great.

“Drone Awards is the most important worldwide competition about aerial photography and video. It’s a project of Siena Awards, dedicated to a different photographic genre deliberately separated from being compared to traditional photography.”

Unbuilt Frank Lloyd Wright houses brought to life in 3D

Unbuilt Frank Lloyd Wright houses brought to life in 3D

“Intrigued by the fact that over half of Frank Lloyd Wright’s works were never built, home project internet company Angi took on an unusual task: to bring to life some of the midcentury American architecture master’s houses using the magic of contemporary 3D design.”

Turbo Dismounting

Turbo Dismounting

The latest upgrade to the “Stair Dismount” game from several years ago. Throw a ragdoll-stick man down stairs, through windows, etc., but now with “turbo”. (Translation: explosives!)

Still fun!

Well there you go. Friday now has links.

Have a happy weekend everybody. See you in a week!

Happy Friday!

And welcome to February, 2022. That was fast (for me.)

Links time!

Satellite Dashboard

Satellite Dashboard

“The Satellite Dashboard is a web-based tool that will collate and analyze space situational awareness (SSA) data on specific activities of interest and present it in an accessible format, while also providing a queuing function for further technical analysis.”

Wow there are a lot of objects up there. So insane.

A great interface, and some pretty good details about pretty much any orbiting item you can think of.

Haworth: Windowseat Lounge Chair

Haworth: Windowseat Lounge Chair

These were featured in the HBO Max series “Station Eleven“. (Recommended, but also very, very sad.)

A very expensive piece of furniture. Feels very 1972.

Same.Energy

Same.Energy

A visual search engine. Upload an image or enter a search term and it will show you visually similar images.

Subtly different from Google’s image search and purely returning only visual image results.

Wordversary

Wordversary

A head-to-head competitive version of Wordle.

I find it harder to do repeatedly. A real brain workout.

Well there we go. Friday: allll linked up.

Have a happy Friday, and a wonderful weekend.

See you next Friday.
