There are now only 38 shopping days until Spring!

And it’s Friday!

And there are Friday Links!

The Garden of Earthly Delights by Jheironimus Bosch

The Garden of Earthly Delights by Jheironimus Bosch

A really, really great interactive tour of this complicated 16th century masterpiece. Very well done. The sheer volume of detail that went into making this painting is astonishing.

Because Recollection

An interesting, arty little web… “thing” (installation? presentation?) that rolls through a bunch of sounds, music, and images.

Hold the space bar to load a new track, click and hold to “stop time”.

It’s kind of cool.

Read By Famous

Want to buy a copy of “Lawrence In Arabia” that was once owned by (and is autographed by) Francis Ford Coppola? Now you can! (For a price, obviously.) “The proceeds from the sales benefit book and literacy focused non-profits.”

A pretty great idea.

From the great minds behind the eminently challenging QWOP. This is a challenging, brilliantly conceived little maze game.

Note: Very hard on the eyes. But still cool.

Chill The Lion

Yup. That’s what it does. 🙂

I also have a couple of mid-sized reads!

10 Viral Sensations on Life After Internet Fame
Miss South Carolina Teen USA! The “Evolution of Dance” guy! The “Charlie Bit My Finger” guy! Actually a pretty interesting read.

And from Richard Grant over at Avaunt we have the true story that the movie (and novel) “The Revenant” is based on: A Life Wild And Perilous: The Ultimate Buckskin Badass.
If you ever think you’re having a bad day, just read a portion of this. I’m glad I didn’t live in those times. Yikes!

And there we go!

See you in a week everybody. Happy Friday!
